Bp. Kisekka of Luweero Diocese Transfers, Promotes Church Ministers

Over 40 church ministers in the Anglican diocese of Luweero have been transferred and promoted in a sweeping adjustment announced by the Bishop Rt. Rev. Wilson Kisekka, during a synod meeting held at St. Mark’s Cathedral Luweero on Thursday.

Announcing the changes, Bishop Kisekka said it had been deemed necessary to make the changes in order to streamline church service to the flocks.

The official commissioning of the ministers in their new offices is scheduled to take place on December 14^th.

In all, over fifteen ordinands from Uganda Christian University (UCU) and Namugongo Martyrs Seminary Namugongo were given their initial assignments while a number of serving priests were transferred from their old to new stations.
