The Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Areas, Hajat Minsa Kabanda has appealed to parents to put their children in schools which are good enough to guarantee their foundation for a better future.

The Minister who also launched the school’s Modern Computer Laboratory, pledged to support the school management in ensuring that they get more computers.

Referring to her experience as a former parent of the school, the Minister said that her children who passed through this school are havening a bright future just because of the strong foundation they got from Nsamo Mixed Primary School.

“I stand here to give a living testimony for this school. All my three children who went through this school are living a successful life both academically and spiritually,” she said.

Nsamo Mixed Day and Boarding Primary School is based on the Moslem foundation with its director Hajji Mwesigye Hassan being a former teacher of Nabisunsa Secondary School.

The school has had a remarkable performance over the years in Mukono district.

While addressing parents, Mwesigye appealed to the parents to take precautions while raising their children. He appealed to parents to be cautious and take keen security of the children during holidays.

“Parents should create time from their busy schedule to groom their children during the holidays. They should be cautious about who remains with their children while they are at work. Many times children are left under the care of people who do not take responsibility over their behaviors,” said Hajji Mwesigye.

The school end of year MDD concert and graduation saw performances of students in different activities including folk songs and dances, mimes, poems, creative dances among others.
