Micheal Kawuka, the father of Janet said that they were shocked when Achola, who left police on the case of attempted murder was again charged with assault and she was granted a court bail.

As a result, Kawuka petitioned the RDC of Mukono Hajjat Fatuma Ndisaba Nabitaka calling for her intervention into the matter saying that their file had been fraudulently handled for the benefit of the accused person.

“Unfortunately, the victims’ health condition is just worsening, we are calling for a better handling of our case so that the accused can face the right charges,” he said.

When contacted, RDC Ndisaba said that after learning about this case and seeing the pictures that shows the current situation of the victims, she contacted the Mukono Regional Director of Public Prosecutions, Florence Akello and she asked for her intervention.

Ndisaba said that Akello called for the file from Nakifuma court and promised to study it before coming up with a conclusion.

Akello however showed dismay saying that according to the pictures showing the current situation of the victims, an assault case was not sufficient for the accused person.
