The Ministry of Local Government has organised a mandatory two-week training for influencing local government technical staff in causing active participation of officers under them in the socio-economic transformation agenda of the country.
The training to be held at the National Leadership Institute Kyankwanzi beginning on 30th March 2025 is to be attended by Chief Administrative Officers and Town Clerks of Cities and Municipalities. It is organised by the Civil Service College Jinja, and each of the participants is expected to pay a fee of sh2m.
The Objective of the Training is to enhance your capabilities as Technical Heads of Local Governments to the expected levels in order to cause active participation and involvement of all officers under your stewardship in the Social-Economic Transformation Agenda of the Country.
The communication by the Ministry of Local Government Permanent Secretary Ben Kumumanya is copied to the Minister, the State Minister, the head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet and the Commissioner Civil Service College Jinja.
