“Always strive to think outside the box bearing in mind that you are exposed to very many avenues of diversifying your mental capabilities for the benefit of communities, your families and yourselves”, he advised.
Former Vice Chancellor for Makerere University, Prof. Ddumba Ssentamu has advised higher institutions graduates to use challenges faced by communities around them and, through research initiatives, pave way for creating jobs instead of rushing for the limited white collar jobs.
He was officiating at the 12th graduation for Multitech Business School at Kakiri in Wakiso district, where 680 finalists graduated in various technical disciplines.
Prof Ssentamu called on the graduands to maintain touch amongst themselves and to continually consult with a view to seek new avenues of changing their lives for the better.

“Always strive to think outside the box bearing in mind that you are exposed to very many avenues of diversifying your mental capabilities for the benefit of communities, your families and yourselves”, he advised.
He called on institutions to emphasize training in the technological field, saying that nowadays technology is the way to go.
The institute’s Director Aloysius Ssemanda and the Principal Dr Menya Muhammed expressed satisfaction that they were putting out into the job market highly qualified products able to apply the skills attained to competitively meet requirements, as well as create new jobs.
The learners variously appealed to their colleagues out there to seek more training opportunities, as a means of adding value to their worth in society.
