Maj. Gen. Mugerwa had on Tuesday visited Mukono district local council, political and security leaders, NRM supporters and community members in his ongoing rounds of the First Infantry Division comprising Bunyoro, Busoga and Buganda regions. The meeting was held at Mukono district headquarters.

One of the members who identified herself as Nangobi Jackeline of Kiyunga village in Kyampisi sub-county, said a supporter identified as Davis Tugumisirize of Kiyunga village was recently attacked at night, jabbed with an unknown substance leading to his death.
