The health workers in Mukono district are saddened by the death of one of them, a senior midwife, Sr. Sarah Katumba who died at Mulago hospital on Saturday May 3, 2025.
Sr. Katumba who retired from the administration roles of the health sector in Mukono district is a wife to Dr. Katumba of Nassuuti in Mukono Central Division, Mukono Municipality.
After her retirement, Sr. Katumba later served as the member of the District Service Commission and a board member of St. Elizabeth’s Institute of Health Professionals at Ssaza cell in Mukono town.
There will be a Funeral Service at St. James Church of Uganda-Nasuuti today Sunday, 4th May 2025 starting at 5:00pm, followed by a vigil at their home in Nasuuti- Ham mukasa village, Mukono District.
Burial will take place at their home burial ground in Sentema-Busiro on Monday, 5th May 2025 at 02:00pm.
