Shock has gripped the locals in Kamuli district following the untimely death of their chairperson in a late-night road accident.
Charles Maxwell Mugude Kuwembula, the district chairperson for Kamuli district has been confirmed dead in a nasty accident which happened in Nakifuma, on Gayaza-Kayunga Road in Mukono district.
It is alleged that Mugude’s body was taken to Mulago City Mortuary for post mortem examination.
According to the information coming from Kamuli district, the locals say that Mugude had just returned from Germany where he underwent treatment following the alleged poisoning.
