Ugandan singer Patrick Mulwana alias Alien Skin on Wednesday surrendered to the CID headquarters after media reports went rife that he was behind the brutal murder of Wilfred Namuwaya, former member and dancer of his group known as Fangone Forest.
Alien Skin was later handed over to Katwe police from where he recorded a statement on matters regarding the murder of Namuwaya.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango confirmed the matter, adding that Alien Skin was handed over to Katwe police which is handling investigations for Namuwaya’s death.
Onyango however, on Thursday morning told our reporter that Alien Skin was released on police bond after recording a statement.
He further said that on 22nd September 2025 while at his home in Ndeeba Mpomba zone, was confronted and dragged to Alien Skin’s home in Makindye where members of the Fangone Forest group thoroughly beat him up, and later dumped him near his home in a critical health condition. Rescuers picked him up and took him to Mulago Hospital where he breathed his last.

Other members of the Fangone Forest are on the run and according to Onyango, the police are fast on their heels. They include Commander Mudogo, Ibra Kabadiya and Mijagulo who are said to have physically fatally beaten the deceased.
The file is to be forwarded to the DPP on completion of investigations, for the final decision.
