President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Lino Anguzu as the new Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Anguzu, who has been an Assistant DPP, replaces Justice Jane Frances Abodo, who was recently appointed Principal Judge.
Our sources indicate that the President has forwarded Anguzu’s name to the Parliament’s Appointment Committee for approval.
