Mother Abandons Baby at Museveni’s Rally in Mukono

After over an hour, the lady who picked the baby was seen still holding it with a simple drink which she was giving her to at least save the hunger challenge.

A well-wisher at President Museveni’s rally in Mukono on Friday found it hard to take care of a baby who had been abandoned by her mother as she went to unknown locations.

As the baby who looked hungry started crying endlessly, the well-wisher was forced to contact the day’s Master of Ceremony, a veteran radio presenter, Omulangira Ndausi who publicly called on for the mother of the baby to come and pick her but in vain.

After over an hour, the lady who picked the baby was seen still holding it with a simple drink which she was giving her to at least save the hunger challenge. It was not revealed whether she later took the by to police or the mother showed up.

The rally for President Museveni, the NRM presidential flag bearer, was held at St. Joseph’s Mixed Primary School in Naggalama, Mukono district.
