NUP’s Nalubowa Runs to Court Challenging Nameere’s Win in Masaka City MP Race

The drama surrounding the Masaka City Woman MP seat has taken a new turn, with Rose Nalubowa’s lawyer, Samuel Muyizzi, petitioning the Masaka High Court to challenge the declaration of Justine Nameere as the winner.

Nameere, the NRM candidate, was declared the winner on Sunday night with 25,502 votes, beating Nalubowa’s 23,176 votes in a recount exercise.
