A wave of sadness has swept through Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) after a second-year student, Arishaba Talent, lost her life in a road accident on Saturday morning.
The student was headed to campus when the tragic incident occurred. Arishaba, a Valuation student, was part of the CEDAT community, and her passing has left colleagues and friends in grief.
The university community has expressed condolences, with many taking to social media to pay tribute to the young student.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our own Arishaba Talent, a Year 2 Valuation student at @MakCEDAT, who tragically passed away in a road accident on her way to @Makerere campus today. May her soul rest in peace.”
