The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results this Friday, February 13, at 11 a.m. at State House Nakasero.

The announcement comes after a decisive briefing with Education Minister Janet Kataha Museveni, marking a significant milestone for the newly inaugurated 13-member UNEB governing board.

Led by Prof. Celestino Obua, the board is overseeing the second cohort to be graded under the nation’s competency-based curriculum, which incorporates continuous assessment scores contributing 20% to a student’s final grade.

This year’s exams saw a 12.1% increase in registration, with 432,025 candidates, 51.5% of whom were female students.

Once released, scores can be accessed via mobile SMS by sending a student’s index number to 6600.
