Mulwana, the TikToker who had sparked outrage with his videos mocking the death of Edith Katende Mufumbiro, had also made a name for himself by attacking anyone who criticized the Ugandan government’s failure to deliver basic services.
A TikTok influencer, known for his controversial online content, is fighting for his life after being struck by a prison van today while covering the trial of Okello, the man accused of killing four toddlers in Ggaba.
The incident occurred as the man, who last week gained attention for celebrating the death of Edith Katende, wife of Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, was filming live outside the courthouse.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Rachael Kawala reported that a Toyota Hiace van, registration number UU 00067 T which was transporting Chritopher Okello Onyuma, failed to brake in time and collided with the influencer identified as Ronald Mulwana (28), causing severe injuries.

He was rushed to Mulago Hospital in critical condition, but due to the extent of his injuries, unconfirmed sources revealed that he was later transferred to Ruby Hospital, a private facility.
Mulwana, the TikToker who had sparked outrage with his videos mocking the death of Edith Katende Mufumbiro, had also made a name for himself by attacking anyone who criticized the Ugandan government’s failure to deliver basic services.
His dismissal of concerns about healthcare, education, and infrastructure now stands in stark contrast to his current situation, as the very system he once defended struggles to save his life.
The incident has sparked a wave of reactions online, with many highlighting the bitter irony of the influencer’s fate. While he had been known for mocking the suffering of others, it now seems that karma has caught up with him in a way that no one could have predicted.
As he battles for his life, many are left to ponder the strange twists of fate that led to this moment, with some even speculating whether the influencer will ever face the consequences of his online actions.
