The Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere, has announced with deep sorrow the death of Rev. Fr. Viatory Muvunyi, one of the priests of the Archdiocese of Kampala.
In an official death announcement, Archbishop Ssemogerere expressed profound sadness over the passing of Fr. Muvunyi, who hailed from Kiziba Parish and had dedicated his life to priestly service and the formation of future priests. By press time, the cause of his death had not yet been communicated.
At the time of his death, Fr. Muvunyi was serving as a teacher at Uganda Martyrs National Seminary Alokolum in Gulu, where he played a significant role in the academic, spiritual and pastoral formation of seminarians.
