“Despite prior notices, the issue remains unresolved, leaving me no choice but to terminate your tenancy immediately,” Katurebe stated in the notice.

Local musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, is facing possible eviction from his rented home in Makindye, Kampala, after his landlord issued a 30-day notice demanding sh36m in outstanding rent and water bills.
In a notice dated October 26, 2026, landlord Isaac Katurebe informed the singer that his tenancy had been terminated over alleged failure to meet his rental obligations for 12 months.
According to the notice, Alien Skin had agreed to pay monthly rent of sh2.25m for the property in Sempa Zone, Makindye, but had allegedly accumulated arrears despite previous reminders.
Katurebe broke down the outstanding amount into sh27m in unpaid rent and sh9m in water bills, bringing the total liability to sh36m.
The landlord gave the singer until November 26, 2026, to clear the outstanding bills or vacate the premises with his personal belongings.

“Despite prior notices, the issue remains unresolved, leaving me no choice but to terminate your tenancy immediately,” Katurebe stated in the notice.
He warned that failure to comply could result in legal action, including court proceedings and enforcement involving local authorities.
Copies of the notice were also addressed to the Community Liaison Officer at Katwe Police Station and the chairperson of Sempa Zone.
The development places the musician at risk of losing his residence unless he reaches an agreement with his landlord or settles the outstanding amount within the stipulated period.
Alien Skin, who rose to prominence through his Fangone Forest music group, is known for his energetic performances and songs that have attracted a following among Uganda’s young music fans.
However, the latest development shifts attention from his music career to his reported housing troubles, with the November 26 deadline now setting the stage for a possible showdown between the singer and his landlord.
It remains unclear whether Alien Skin has responded to the eviction notice or disputed the alleged arrears.
