As party election politics took an upper hand almost in all community circles countrywide, education institutions have not been spared the viral attack, as the Kyambogo University chapter of the National Unity Platform (NUP) finally zeroed on Andama Emmanuel as the flag bearer for guild presidential by-elections.
According to the party members, this decision to choose Andama was born out of a revolutionary duty to defend the voice of the common students, to restore the power of the students to the students themselves, and to resist every form of injustice, manipulation, and betrayal.

Kyambogo NUP supporters believe that with Andama Emmanuel, they march not just into an election but into a revolution of ideas, a rebirth of the guild, and a new dawn of student-centered leadership.
