Army Breaks into My Home, Assaults Family – Kyagulanyi
I am shocked and outraged by the violent raid on my home in Magere last night. Hundreds of soldiers, some in uniform, others in plain clothes, and many drunk, stormed our compound. They broke doors, smashed windows, and forced their way in.
My wife was put on gunpoint, beaten, and insulted. They stole valuables, documents, and electronics. They even took pictures of her after stripping her blouse. My askari and maid were also beaten.
This is unacceptable. My wife is now in hospital, traumatized. The regime’s brutality won’t intimidate us. We’ll keep fighting for Uganda’s freedom.
