According to the bereaved husband Ssekirime, his wife left home for the hospital where she has been getting pre-natal services where she delivered normally but bled profusely after delivery.

She was taken to the theatre to extract the foetus but died before completion of the exercise. The baby is still in the neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU).

Ssekirime described Judith as a caring and devoted wife whose love was pure and unconditional.

He said that Judith had been attending Bethany Hospital for regular checkups throughout her pregnancy. Doctors had advised her to take rest and avoid heavy work. When her time to give birth came, the couple returned to the same hospital, hoping for a safe delivery. Sadly, things took a tragic turn.
