As Seeta High Schools celebrate twenty-five years of existence today, Seeta University, a sister institution, has been commissioned by the Catholic Bishop of Lugazi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Christopher Kakooza, with appreciation to the institutes’ vision bearer, the Education State Minister for Higher Education Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo, for the farsightedness to make a contribution to the advancement of education in Uganda.
Bp. Kakooza hailed Dr. Muyingo for identifying an artistic and strategic location for the university, and expressed optimism that will serve as an attractive incentive for passers by to join or seek entry for their children.
He assured the minister that he is to offer the university with some of the Reverend Fathers and Sisters whom he said are to join the dedicated team of staff members ready to make an input in the day-to-day running of the university.

He prayed to God that as they celebrate 25 years of their schools’ existence, he gives them the strength, courage and ability to produce products that will make an input in steering the development of this nation.
The university’s Administrator, Ronald Mbago said they have a dream of producing all round students who are acceptable internationally, which he said is the reason they set up state-of-the art facilities in all departments.
