Bugiri Museveni Supporters in Ground Mobilisation Campaign

Supporters of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s 2026 presidential election bid have organized a grand mobilization campaign tomorrow January 31, 2024.

The team led by Bugiri district Woman Member of Parliament, Agnes Taaka Wejuli have today began with the general cleaning exercise in Bugiri town.

President Museveni is expected to be the chief guest at the launch of the campaign code-named ‘Museveni Awooma,. A number of artistes led by a famous Mukono-based singer Emma Nsereko alias Munnamasaka are going to entertain supporters in a trans night merry making event.

Bugiri Woman MP Agnes Takka and the district NRM chairperson Stephen Mutumba have called on supporters from the district and beyond to attend the function where they will be sensitized on various NRM programmes and appreciating President Museveni‘s good leadership.

The Publicity Secretary and advisor for Museveni Awooma Team, Lozio Kyagulanyi said they want to express their appreciation to President Museveni for poverty alleviation interventions including the PDM, emyooga and others.

Lozio has noted that the mop up exercise in Bugiri town is a gesture of thanking President Museveni’s clean leadership.

He assured Ugandans to expect much better service delivery from the NRM in the forthcoming term under President Museveni and added, “We have conducted a cleaning exercise to portray his clean leadership.”

And the team manager Ibrahim Musoga implored communities to come in big numbers and listen to the advice from the freedom fighter and a time tested leader who he said has ushered in unprecedented peace.

“We expect him to attend because he promised and he is aware we love and support him; we have never had a patriotic leader like him and this is the reason we are appreciating him,” Musoga said.
