Narrating his ordeal, Duku said he got a cleaner’s job at Cavendish University after being ejected from the education career owing to financial hiccups on completion of his science combination, Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture and sub Maths at Busaana Secondary School, scoring eight points. Though he was a 20 points material, the challenges he faced including staying home to dig in people’s gardens on a number of days to raise school fees yet he was in a candidate class hindered his end results.

But on getting to Cavendish to work, he smartly attached himself to computer repair works and as one thing led to the other, his bosses were impressed and took him through some informal training. He then enrolled for a diploma course in IT in 2020.
