Panic erupted at the FUFA Drum match between Lango Province and Teso Region in Lira after a roof collapsed, injuring unidentified number of spectators.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 20 fans had climbed onto the roof of a nearby structure to get a better view of the game when it suddenly gave way. Two victims are reported to be in critical condition, while another sustained severe leg injuries. Several others were rushed to Lira Regional Referral Hospital for treatment.
