The Muslim fraternity and the late Sheikh Nuuhu Batte Muzaata’s family in particular, have been struck with a hard-hitting tragedy when Sheikh Ibrahim Sebunnya, 35, slipped and fell in a bathroom.
Sheikh Sebunnya, the only boy child in a family of nine, was the religious teacher at Bilal Islamic Primary School Bwaise, and was the younger brother to Dr. Kulthum Nabunnya Muzaata, widow of the late Sheikh Nuuhu Batte Muzaata.
He had gained untold fame in online teaching on issues in the Koran. He was buried at Kyaato village, in Nakaseke district. Dr. Kulthum told mourners that their brother’s death dealt them a big blow as he was the heir to their father.

The deceased was trained in Quran teaching by his dead in-law Sheikh Muzaata, and they used to travel together on many evangelization missions.
