Grief as Police Arrest Two Suspects in Violent Murder of Namulindwa Victoria

In a shocking turn of events, police in the Albertine region have arrested two prime suspects, Jordan Kibuka (25) and Semata, also known as Kidewalime (23), in connection with the violent murder of Namulindwa Victoria (38), a resident of Rwensera B Cell in Kakumiro District.

On the 27th of February, 2026, Victoria was viciously attacked in her home by the suspects, who were armed with heavy sticks. The brutal assault not only claimed Victoria’s life, but also left three of her children and their maid seriously injured.

All victims were quickly rushed to Mubende Hospital, where they received medical attention. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, Victoria succumbed to her injuries, leaving behind grieving family members and a shaken community.

The other victims are reported to be in stable condition and are expected to make a full recovery.
