Dr. Tanga warned people who are intending to disorganize the NRM electoral process to desist from the vice, saying, they will be dealt with accordingly.
Hundreds of National Resistance Movement (NRM) delegates coming from all the districts have thronged Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to take part in the elections of the party Central Executive Committee members.
According to Dr. Tanga Odoi, the Chairperson NRM Electoral Commission, the delegates conference is to last for four days. At 1,500 delegates including the district chairpersons, Members of Parliament, party flag bearers across the country, and some of the well-wishers.
Tanga Odoi said that the delegates conference is going to start with the elections for the leaders on the special interest groups including; the youth, veterans, workers, Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and women.
He said that on each special interest group, they will vote for ten positions ranging from the chairperson, vice, treasurer, publicity, among others.

“I am warning mostly the youth, whom wealthy party leaders have mobilized to come and disorganize the delegates conference and get paid later, we are ready to handle you and you will regret your actions,” he warned.
