As the debate to or not to merge the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) with the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) grows more contentious and assuming fresh dimensions every passing day, the head of the Born Again Federation of Uganda Apostle Dr. Joseph Sserwadda has designed a harsher sounding ingredient by way of a condemnation prayer.
During a prayer service code-named ‘High Flyer’ at the Victory Church Ndeeba in Kampala which he founded and heads, Dr. Sserwadda in no unclear terms invoked God to intervene and destroy proponents of the motion.
In his own words, Dr. Ssserwadda said during the Wednesday service, “This is the third time I am saying this prayer; I said it here yesterday, I said it back at home, and I am saying it now and imploring all believers to say it always.”

Kyaggwe TV reproduces the translated version of Dr. Serwadda’s prayer which he said in Luganda:
All those treacherously planning to steal Uganda’s coffee – ministers, high level officials, all without discrimination – should leave the world immediately. I have already made this statement and I neither reverse nor regret it.
“Loving Father, you know all those behind this evil plan; we do not have the valour to fight them but
`you know you can fight for us and we beseech you to do so. They are mighty people, very authoritative and hold unquestionable command, fight them for us.
If the evil spirit, the demons, witches and all Satan’s agents can fight for themselves, we trust you can fight for us for you are mightier. You asked Jehoshaphat to stand still and wait to see salvation come his way, we beseech you to say the same to us.
You, oppressed Ugandans, declare your victory now! You are destined to be victorious! You will overcome this mess! It is heavy, scary and gigantic but in the name of the Lord, you will succeed!”
At this juncture, assisted by Bishop Ssaalongo Mukiibi, Dr. Serwadda blessed the anointing oil with which to execute his prayer.

Prayer continues:
Good Lord, deny our enemies your presence; Send them away. I have surrendered them to you to deal with them accordingly. We do not have the strength to wrestle them down but you have it. Do not allow them to appear before us with their evil plans again! Let them tread a slippery path!
Ugandans, this seems a heavy task but you will emerge winners! Whoever wishes to practice their insolence and impunity against you will go! Pray hard, your God hears!
