Mityana district Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Edith Mutabazi has ordered Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament, Francis Zaake to remove his ambulance from the parking yard of Mityana Hospital where it has been giving the local people services in times of referral.
In a letter addressed to Zaake, written on September 30, 2025, Mutabazi says she acted upon receiving information that the ambulance, registration number UBL 6371, is owned by the latter, and for private use.
She therefore advised him to stop parking it at a public facility for security reasons.

“You are accordingly advised to stop parking it at a Public Facility for Security reasons. Mityana Hospital Medical Superintendent is instructed to ensure it is removed. By copy of this letter, the District Police Commander is requested to enforce its removal,” reads the CAO’s letter.
The letter is copied to the RDC Mityana, the district chairperson, District Health Officer and the Medical Superintendent, Mityana Hospital.
