BFM Radio Presenter in Bushenyi district has discontinued a veteran presenter, Caroline Namara from hosting her family affairs program.
Namara was accused of showing interest in the District Woman Member of Parliament Seat which is currently occupied by her boss, Annet Katusiime Mugisha.
Namara says she was fired by phone before she could resign. A wife to the Managing Director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Eng. Silver Mugisha, Katusiime is affiliated to National Resistance Movement (NRM).
Her political career began with the 2021 parliamentary elections, in which she prevailed against Mary Karooro Okurut in the NRM primaries and subsequently won the seat in the general parliamentary election.
