Omukunja Atasera Shot as Security Forces Fired Live Bullets at Kyagulanyi Supporters
Dan Ssempijja a.k.a Omukunja Atasera has surprised the foot soldiers of the National Unity Platform (NUP) when he has posted on his photos on his FaceBook wall wearing Yellow T. Shirts belonging to National Resistance Movement’s (NRM) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Mukunja who is currently referring to himself as Novik Music Africa has also posted on his FaceBook Wall saying, “Everyone will judge you without knowing what you go through. Ndibeetondera.”
Omukunja Atasera had of late painted himself as a revolutionary artist who has been also getting favours from the leading opposition leader in Uganda, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
His fame was cut short when the regime security operatives shot at him in the leg when he was retiring from performing at Kyagulanyi’s presidential post nomination rally which was held at Nateete last month.
He attracted a number of opposition figures who paid him a visit in the hospital where he was admitted and treated. On Saturday, Mukunja attended a function organized by Mukono Municipality MP, Betty Nambooze Bakireke.
