Nakajubi Efrance, an 18-year-old Senior Six student at Blessed High School, Kiganda, has made history as Uganda’s and East Africa’s youngest female councillor.
She was elected as the Woman Councillor representing Kasambya and Kayunga in Kiganda Sub-county, Kassanda, Ssingo, on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.
Nakajubi’s victory is a testament to her dedication, confidence, and clarity of purpose. Her campaign focused on improving youth engagement, promoting education, strengthening community sanitation, and advocating for better services at the grassroots level.
