Buikwe District NUP List of Successful Flag Bearers Released
National Unity Platform (NUP) has dumped the Mukono district chairperson, Rev. Dr. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa and awarded the flag for the coming 2026 local government elections to Johnson Muyanja Ssenyonga.
The decision to abandon Bakaluba and move with Muyanja has left part of the party supporters in Mukono district celebrating yet another section is cursing the move.
However, after the official release of the full list of successful flagbearers, the party president, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has called on to unsuccessful candidates to support the selected ones for the good of the party.
