Police say they are following several leads and speaking to individuals who attended the seminar in an effort to establish Mutebi’s last known movements.
Police at Entebbe Police Station have launched investigations into the disappearance of Mike Mutebi, a senior coach who went missing on March 7, 2026, from Kisubi Beach.
According to police, Mutebi had attended a Catholic seminar held at the beach earlier that day. He was last seen at around 6:30 p.m. as participants were preparing to travel back to Kampala after the event.
However, when the group arrived in Kawempe, Mutebi could not be accounted for, prompting concern among fellow participants and organizers. His sudden disappearance has since been reported to authorities, who have opened a missing person investigation.
