Namirembe was once a People Power Youth Coordinator for the Buganda Region and known for her support towards the National Unity Platform (NUP), dedicating her life to youth empowerment and justice.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has come out to mourn the tragic death of its law student, Angella Namirembe, who has been pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (Year 3) at Kampala Campus.
In a condolence statement, UCU said that Namirembe succumbed to the injuries she sustained in a bodaboda accident which happened on Monday at Lubiri Ring Road when she was coming from Campus for her lectures.

She was rushed to Mulago Hospital, where she was sadly pronounced dead. Namirembe was once a People Power Youth Coordinator for the Buganda Region and known for her support towards the National Unity Platform (NUP), dedicating her life to youth empowerment and justice.
Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the NUP president has also joined the rest of the community to mourn Namirembe.

“Very saddening to learn of the death of comrade Namirembe Angella, the former leader of the Youth Wing of our People Power movement in Buganda sub-region. She succumbed to injuries she sustained in a boda boda accident in Mengo yesterday. Our condolences go out to her family, friends, and fellow comrades in the struggle. May her soul rest in peace,” Kyagulanyi’s condolence message posted on X.
