Alien Skin Charged, Remanded for Stealing sh3.5m Phone

Local artist Patrick Mulwana, a.k.a Alien Skin has been charged and remanded to Luzira Prison over robbery contrary to section 266 and 267 (1) (3) of the penal code act CAP 128.

It is alleged that Alien Skin (30), a resident of Kizungu Zone in Makindye Division, Kampala district on September 28, 2024 while at Makindye robbed Salim Mubiru of his mobile phone, Iphone 15 Pro black in colour valued at sh1,500,000.

He is also said to have robbed sh480,000 and a wallet containing a National ID and at or immediately before or immediately after the time of the said robbery, the suspect used actual violence on the said Mubiru.

Alien Skin has been charged before Makindye Chief Magistrate, Esther Adikini who remanded him until December 9.

At the same time, Alien Skin is also facing charges of assaulting a doctor at Nsambya Hospital.

According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, the incident occurred on Tuesday at Nsambya Hospital, when a patient, Joram Tumwesigye who is also part of Alien Skin group, Fangone was admitted after allegedly being knocked by a car in Makindye.

Police said that Tumwesigye died approximately an hour after admission. Alien Skin and his group stormed the hospital and allegedly demanded medical forms from the doctors.

“When their demands were not met, the group reportedly assaulted Dr. Anthony Matovu Zaidi, Muyanda, and Alex Odongo, a security guard employed at the hospital and two other guards before fleeing the hospital,” Owoyesigyire said.

Police added that it has since recorded statements from the victims and eyewitnesses as investigations are ongoing.

“We assure the public that efforts are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice. Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available,” Owoyesigyire noted.

According to Police reports at Katwe, Alien Skin and his group have been linked to multiple incidents of violence.

This year, Alien Skin allegedly assaulted Ntale Tonny, a bouncer at Vox Bar in Makindye. The altercation occurred when Ntale asked him and his entourage to follow security procedures.
