Police in London dispersed Londoners who had converged at Windsor Castle to demonstrate against the visit of the US President Donald Trump, whom they blame for dictatorship according to placards they waved. Four people were arrested.
Trump, who was accompanied by his wife Melania, jetted in on Tuesday and the couple was driven to London in the evening where, on disembarking, he praised Britain as a good country that he cherishes a lot, and where he always feels at home whenever he visits.
However, protesters who began the day by camping at Prince Charles’ castle at Windsor, waved placards with inscriptions attacking Trump for dictatorship, and citing a prominent economist Jeffrey Edward Epstein who died in jail on August 10, 2019 after being convicted of defilement charges.
British authorities say that such uprisings are unavoidable, assuring the world however that nobody has the capacity to prematurely discontinue Trump’s visit.
Trump is expected to lay a wreath on the grave of Queen Elizabeth in King George VI Chapel.
