A senior police officer whose video went viral on social media while slapping a supermarket attendant who demanded from him money meant for condoms and other valuables he had purchased in a supermarket at Shell Kyanja has today been produced in KCCA court and charged with assault and threatening violence.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nsiima Clive appeared before Senior Principal Grade One Magistrate Nicholas Aisu at City Hall Court on Monday, October 13, 2025.
Nsiima was remanded to Luzira prison until October 16, 2025 when he will get the chance to ask for a court bail.
According to police, Nsiima appeared in the police disciplinary court on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, and Friday, 10 October 2025, where he was charged with behaving in a scandalous manner. The court recommended a sentence of dismissal.
