Fear has gripped the Mukono district staff following the untimely death of one of them, Josephine Namanda who passed on today’s morning.
According to Mukono district communications officer, Derrick Kaddu, Namanda who was traveling on a bodaboda from her home to the district was knocked by a Sino Truck and died on her way to Mulago Hospital.
Kaddu said that the accident occurred at around 11:00am. Namanda has been the Mukono district fisheries officer and she has been residing in Nama sub-county.
The district communications condolence message circulated on different social media platforms reads as follows;
“Our Beloved District Aquaculture Officer of Mukono District Local Government, Mrs Nnalongo Josephine Namanda has gone to be with the Lord. Nnalongo Josephine in the morning was on Boda Boda at around 11:00am coming to Mukono to work she got into an accident whereby was knocked by a Sino Truck and rushed to Mulago Hospital at the entry she passed on.”
