At least 24 soldiers of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) were injured on Saturday after a military truck overturned in Agago District while transporting personnel to Gulu City.

The accident involved a military vehicle attached to the 5th Infantry Division Training School in Labwordwong. The soldiers were travelling to the 4th Infantry Division Barracks in Gulu when the vehicle reportedly overturned.

The injured soldiers sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to medical facilities for treatment.
