The disappearance has prompted police to launch investigations and appeal to members of the public to help locate the two children.
Police at Kira Road Division have intensified efforts to trace two pupils of Uganda School for the Deaf in Ntinda who disappeared from the school after allegedly leaving the premises without permission.
The missing pupils have been identified as Muhoozi Alex, 16, and Mubiru Edrine, 14.
According to police, the two were last seen at around 1:00 p.m. on July 24, 2026, while at the school. Preliminary findings indicate that they reportedly jumped over the school’s perimeter wall before leaving the compound. They have not been seen or heard from since.

In a statement, Kira Road Police Division urged anyone who may have seen the missing pupils or has information regarding their whereabouts to immediately report to the nearest police station or contact the investigating officers.

Authorities appealed to the public to cooperate with the ongoing search, expressing hope that the two pupils will be found safe and reunited with their families and the school community.
