A helicopter carrying the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa has been involved in a crash in Western Uganda.
It is alleged that the chopper crashed on Saturday evening. Whereas details about the incident are still scanty, the Deputy Speaker has confirmed that he is in good condition.
“Dear all, my colleagues and we are all okay. No one is hurt,” Tayebwa has just posted this morning on his X handle.
Tayebwa is reported to have been with the Hoima Woman MP Harriet Businge and other legislators yet to be identified as they were coming from an introduction party for the Managing Director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Eng. Silver Mugisha in Bushenyi.
