 The Uganda Police have congratulated one of its own, Inspector of Police (IP) Peruth Chemutai on her outstanding achievement of winning the Bronze in the 3000m women’s steeplechase at the Diamond League in Lausanne last night.
Chemutai demonstrated remarkable prowess, securing third place with a remarkable time of 9:11:91 and earning her a well-deserved spot on the podium in Switzerland.
Her exceptional performance has also earned her qualification for the upcoming World Championships scheduled to be held in Budapest, Hungary, this August.
Chemutai’s success adds to the remarkable achievements of the Uganda Police team, with seven athletes already surpassing the qualification times.
