Entebbe Expressway Maintenance: Police Issues Diversion Directives

Traffic police has issued traffic movement directives to be followed by motorists and other road users to give room for the ongoing maintenance works on Entebbe Express Highway that commenced on February 26 2025 to last for one week.

The traffic directives issued by the Traffic Police Spokesperson Michael Kananura stand as follows;

Traffic from Kajjansi, Busega to Mpala will be diverted at km 14 (four minutes from Kajjansi) to the right hand side of the expressway, and re-diverted to the left hand side at km 17 (around Pepsi).

From February 28th to March 1, 2025, traffic from Mpala to Kajjansi, Busega will be diverted at Km 17 (near Pepsi factory) to the left-hand side of the Expressway and re-diverted to the right-hand side at Km 14. All traffic through the work zone (Km 14 to Km 17) will use a single lane.

Kajjansi Exit Ramp Closure: March 2-3, 2025. Road users exiting at Kajjansi will be diverted to the murram road (on the left at the start of the exit ramp) through the expressway fence to the tarmac road and then turn right to access Kajjansi Roundabout.

Motorists are therefore urged to observe speed limits and reduce speed when approaching the affected areas, to exercise maximum patience & discipline while being accommodated on a single carriage, and adhere to directives from officers guiding and directing traffic.
