The Police in Ntinda are investigating the mysterious fire which has left five vehicles destroyed beyond recognition.
Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson says the mysterious fire broke out at Efforts Garage on Monday, September 8, 2025 at around 1:20pm.
“Five vehicles were burnt beyond repair, two others partially damaged, and several machines destroyed. Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services, together with UEDCL engineers, responded swiftly and contained the situation,” Owoyesigyire said, adding “The cause of the fire is under investigation.”

According to the people who responded to the scene after getting the news of the fire outbreak, only a police patrol which had been taken to the garage for repair has been saved.
The proprietor of Efforts Garage is said to have suffocated and rushed to a nearby health facility for medical attention.
