NRM Central Region Women’s League Vice Chairperson Promises Heaven on Earth

“I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as the NRM Vice Chairperson of the Women’s League for the central region; I am eager to work tirelessly to empower women and drive positive change in our community,” she said.

The elected National Vice Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League for the Central Region, Omumbejja Juliet Nassuuna Kalule has vowed to turn things around by addressing the hitherto neglected women’s issues.

She has highlighted some of the issues including; increased access to education and skills training, support to women entrepreneurs and small business owners, enhancing healthcare services and support for women and girls, and addressing gender-based violence and discrimination.

Nassuuna who trounced his two fellow contenders Namukose Fatuma and Mbabazi Hawa Nyindo with 600 votes against their 80 and 30 votes respectively, also promises to work collaboratively with other stakeholders in identifying solutions to women’s issues and drive progress.

She believes that her victory is a tremendous honor and a testament to the trust and confidence that voters have placed in her, and added that it means a lot to her.

“I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as the NRM Vice Chairperson of the Women’s League for the central region; I am eager to work tirelessly to empower women and drive positive change in our community,” she said.

“I promise to be a dedicated and responsive leader, working to address the needs and concerns of our community. I’ll prioritize initiatives that promote women’s empowerment, education, and economic development. I’ll also ensure transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in my decision-making processes and I vow to make a meaningful impact and bring about positive change,” Nassuuna promised.
