NRM Delegates Conference: Speaker Among in Early Lead as Voting is Underway

The floor has been opened for the Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among and the First Deputy Prime Minister, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga to contest for the post of the NRM National Vice Chairperson (Female).

According to the preliminary results, Among is in the early lead as the voting is still underway. While addressing the delegates, Kadaga showed dismay to the rampant voter bribery that marred Kololo Ceremonial Grounds where some of the delegates have received Ipads, Smart Phones on top of had cash totaling to sh300,000.

Results from some of the districts;

Kaberamaido District: Anita Among 63 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga received 0 votes.

Katakwi District: Anita Among 98 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 1 vote.

Kumi District: Anita Among 131 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga registered 0.

Soroti District: Anita Among 63 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 0.

Serere District: Anita Among 67 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 0

Kalaki District: Anita Among 58 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 0.

Amuria District: Anita Among received 73 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 0.

Bukedea District, Anita 91 votes, while Rebecca Kadaga 0.
