They join Edward Sebuufu aka Eddie Mutwe and Achileo Kivumbi who were earlier charged with the same offence and remanded to Luzira prison.
National Unity Platform’s (NUP) deputy spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro who was arrested from Kawempe court has today been brought to Kanyanya Magistrates Court.
Waiswa and other NUP party members are facing charges of military drilling/parade that was conducted at NUP Headquarters in Kavule on February 12, 2025.
He joins the five NUP supporters who were on Monday charged and remanded to Luzira prison over the same offences.

The five are; Tasi Calvin aka Bobi Giant, Sserunkuuma Edwin aka Eddie King Kabenja and Lukenge Sharif. Others are Nyanzi Yasin and Kaweesi Tonny.
