Prison warden Moses Anguyo has been sentenced to death after the High Court found him guilty of murdering four people, including two public servants and a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
In addition to the death sentence, the court sentenced Anguyo to two years’ imprisonment on each of two counts of aggravated robbery and three years for one count of threatening violence.
He was also ordered to compensate the victims with sh35,000 for stolen trousers and sh25,000 for an Arsenal jersey.

Trial Judge Lady Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga considered both the aggravating and mitigating circumstances before handing down the sentences.
