Ndisaba said the construction has been as a result of the fundraising drives of the Seeta Muslim community joined by the members of Team Amanu derived from the listenership of Voice of Africa Radio which is commanded by Haji Najib Kivumbi.
“What you are seeing here has been as a result of people’s money given out of love for their religion in interest of receiving Allah’s blessings in return. As we talk now, this is the 12th Mosque built by Voice of Africa mobilization drive around the country,” she noted.

Sheikh Kakande said that due to the growing numbers of the Muslims in the community, the old mosque which had been built more than 40 years ago was no longer enough for them.
“With this new magnificent and storeyed Mosque, the men have the whole space down yet the upper part is for the ladies. May Allah reward all the people who have contributed for this project,” he said.
